.:*No Caged Chickens*:.

Last week we were being told to write a speech that would persuade someone to stop something and when I was little I wondered about getting chickens out of them horrible places like cages and I wanted them to be free, like any chicken could be I really love animals but this is what I wanted to do about chickens.

Today I made Screencastify on my Chromebook using my microphone and webcam to record my screen and myself.

I tried really hard to look at the hole line then to look up and say it without looking at it just by remembering it in my mind.

I would really like you to comment about how clear I said things and How I can improve thank you! :P

  2. Hi Anika, I really liked your expression and you raise good points - how the yolk shows the health of the chickens and how it must be boring for them in cages.

Persuasive language works well when you get people to see the perspectives of others, so having the chicken's point of view is effective. If anything, I would go into more detail with that. Maybe include a description of a day in the life of a caged chicken, right from when they wake up to when they go to sleep - basically sitting, eating bad food, having to listen to and smell all the other chickens in their cages, sitting more, feeling cramped, laying an egg, sitting more, etc.

I love my four free range chooks - they have their own unique personalities and I couldn't bear the thought of them spending their lives in small cages.
