Hokitika Camp

 On a Sunny day in November we had our 2021 class camp.

In the Morning we packed everything into the cars, My teacher and some of my friends Parents helped out transporting people and taking bags, we listened to old country music on the way we jumped around with excitement to be even going on camp.

When we got there we would lay out our beds In a huge hall before running out the door jumping to the colourful playground with a huge grin on our faces then we had tea and went to bed some of us would read for a bit before going to sleep in our sleeping bags.

The Next day we got up and had some brekkie then we left to go to Hokitika gorge It was a very peaceful place and It had a lot of birds In the green trees.Soon after we had to pack everything up and make our way to the cars to go to the tree top walk cafe we had yummy chips and hot dogs It was such a lovely place!

We walked up to the tree top walk It was very high off the ground some people got a little scared, then we made our way back to the cars to go back to the camp, when we got there, we had a camp concert It went on for about 30 minuets before we had to go and play spotlight It was very dark and you nearly could not see anything then we went to bed.

In the Morning we got up and Packed everything It was time to go home It was so sad when we were leaving we popped into the greymouth pools for a quick swim around then we ate Pizza for lunch!
